“Nutts” A drawing that was created using Charcoal & Graphite, taking around 21 hours to finish.

A creativity that blossomed during the lockdown of 2021. This artwork serves me a powerful reminder of how art can inspire joy and hope in difficult times.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
I was mesmerized by the bold contrast I created between the charcoal and graphite. That’s where my obsession began.
Utilizing both mediums brings depth and dimension to the squirrel’s features.
The intricate details and realistic portrayal of the fur truly give the artwork a lifelike essence. Since that pivotal moment, I have committed myself to exploring the two mediums.
Though natural talent and professional training can be beneficial, I believe it is my true passion for my work and dedication to ongoing effort that truly distinguishes me. I’m committed to the long haul, ensuring I cut no corners along the way.
Tools Of Choice- To create this drawing, I used a variety of charcoal and graphite pencils as well as rubbers and smudging stumps.

Using these tools I can portray the furry texture of a squirrel’s coat beautifully. Charcoal’s expressive lines and smudging techniques make this possible. The versatile nature of charcoal allowed me to capture the delicate features of squirrels. The contrast between the charcoal and the white paper creates a dramatic effect, enhancing the overall impact of the drawing.
