1. Intellectual Property & Copyright Retention

• The Core Rule: I retain ultimate, absolute copyright ownership over every original charcoal pieces, layout sketch, and archival Giclée print created under the Cutsforth Artistry brand name.
• Collector Scope: Acquiring an original drawing or commission grants you ownership of the physical substrate itself. It does not transfer reproduction rights, commercial exploitation rights, or digital distribution rights.
• Modifications: You may not digitally alter, replicate, print or use the artwork for commercial or promotional purpose without a separated, legally signed licensing framework from the studio.

2. The Commission Vetting Framework

• Right of Refusal: Submitting an application through the Forminator system does not guarantee placement at the easel. I reserve the absolute right to systematically deny requests that conflict with the studio’s monochrome mandate, architectural parameters, or reference photo quality baselines.
• Financial Baseline: Quotes issued after a technical audit are fixed for 14 days. Production on your Geometric Foundation Fixation layout will only begin once your non-refundable deposit framework is settled in full.

3. Print Variations & Displays

• Monochrome Fidelity: Because computer screens and mobile displays render light and contrast differently, the absolute deep blacks and subtractive values of a physical piece or Giclée print may vary slightly from what you view on a digital monitor.
• Substate Care: The collector acknowledges that raw charcoal is a volatile, delicate medium. The studio is not liable for structural damage, smudging, or fading caused by improper handling, lack of UV protective glass, or exposure to excessive room humidity after successful delivery.

4. Governing Law

These terms, policies and contracts are governed entirely by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from studio acquisitions will be handled exclusively within the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
